The Ojos de Cielo Centre provides a space for a group of 50 children and adolescents in the area using sports as a tool for social inclusion. The project started in the neighborhood of Villa Llanquihue, in km 23 of Bustillo but nowadays includes children from kms 10 to 25. They are invited to participate in different sporting events and receive workshops: school support, percussion, plastic arts, life in nature, cooking, folklore, English lessons and other rotating workshops run by the association. Children from 3 to 9 years old attend the morning shift, receiving assistance with different activities and excursions related to their workshops. They receive breakfast and lunch. During the afternoon shift, adolescents from 10 to 17 years old participate, also with different recreational, educational and sport activities.

Through social inclusion, children and adolescents participate in paid sporting events, being exempted from registration by the organizers after they get to know our association.

Sports have been the protagonist in the birth of Ojos de Cielo, helping to prevent and assist different social problems, such as addictions and gender inequality.

Principles of solidarity, equity, justice, social inclusion and fundamentally respect for human rights are at the heart of everything we do. Our current dream is building our own centre to continue growing and serving the children of our community.

In February 2019 we moved to KM 15 of Bustillo Avenue (Barrio Villa Don Orione) where we have converted a freight container into our new home and at the end of 2020 we got our own plot in KM 13, Barrio Jockey Club.

There is no social class when practicing a sport. It is a context where we are all equal.

That's why sport is a great tool for social inclusion.
